This is a book of imageries
Of a cup of coffee black and a lover with amnesia
And a stream of free flowing intellectual intercourse
Of a low flicker of a candle
dancing to the slow swoosh of night breeze
And two hearts in sync, staring at a starry night sky
There’s a fate cake, some pringles for singles
rainbow lines tumbling from the sky.
Of rainfall concealing tears, sighs and deafening silence
And a dreamer wishing for salvation from the nightmares of sour love
I can go on, but you’d rather flip through the pages and feed your mind with eighteen expressions of love.
I’ve painted vivid pictures of what love looks like on both sides of the coin; even on the edges of same.
